Summary of Responsibilities: The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing the sales support operational processes, sales policy and procedures, front and back office systems support and reporting needs for the Ellie Mae Sales organizations.

Primary Responsibilities & Objectives: Manage the Sales Orders process, procedures, and policies, with a focus on reducing cycle time, and improving internal and external customer satisfaction.

Ensure sales policies and processes are followed with regards to accuracy of orders, product returns, and consistency with our sales pricing, contracts and maintenance agreements.

Maintain and develop written sales policies and procedures and provide appropriate training to the sales organization.

Respond to internal questions and provide timely response regarding sales policies and procedures.

Lead Business Process Improvement initiatives to improve overall business effectiveness as it relates to the overall sales and sales reporting processes.

Serve as the business lead for back & front office systems requirements to support he future growth of Ellie Mae. Work with MIS department to define system enhancement requests, understand system capabilities, and ensure proper end to end testing prior to deployment of changes in production and train end users on new functionality.

Serve as one of the the Salesforce.com system administrators as it pertains to support sales and sales support needs.

Manage the reporting needs through Salesforce.com or other systems to support the business with consistent, accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales and/or product usage information.

Manage the Sales Operations team responsible for sales lead tracking, business reporting, sales order processing.

Contract management.

Establish process to manage customer/prospect requests for proposal, qualifications and related questionnaires.

Develop and maintain a process to tracking and monitor all partner contracts.

Interact daily with all levels of sales, management team and other departments.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Five + years of experience managing Sales Support or Sales Operations.

Demonstrated leadership and management experience to manage a diverse team and experience working on cross functional teams.

Bachelors degree and demonstrated expertise in sales operations/sales order management function within a similar industry preferably the software/technology industry.

Prior experience with implementing and/or administrations of Salesforce.

com/CRM is required.

Able to articulate and present business needs effectively address sales, support, business development, MIS and accounting teams.

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects.

Results oriented with a proven track record of achievements.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively respond to inquiries, articulate issues and needs.

Able to manage projects, write concise reports, outline business requirements, policies and procedures.

High level of computer skills regarding MS Office, CRM or Sales automation systems, reporting systems
