The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Fund for Leukemia Research Sign Agreement to expand outpatient services throughout Canada to

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada announced today that it has signed an agreement under which the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada is a subsidiary of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has become. The Leukemia Research Fund of Canada is its name, with effect from July 1 to change to The Leukemia & Lymphoma.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, resources, invest in essential services and programs for the blood of cancer patients and their families across Canada brings.

The two organizations jointly
raise money for cancer research, blood, advanced technology and support services for critical patients. The Leukemia & Lymphoma continue to support grants to begin with, the financial support of Canadian researchers from the blood cancer at the beginning of their careers.
In Canada, more than 66,000 people to fight blood cancer and every year more than 12,000 Canadians are newly diagnosed with the disease.
