Hello, everyone;
Just getting organized from my trip to Phoenix. What a whirlwind tour. I?d like to thank Sven at Bard?s Books as well as Jean and Mike of Tomes & Treasures. I highly recommend them for those of you in the Phoenix area who enjoy reading.
LepreCon was a very comfortable and casual con with a lot of really cool people. I met many friends that I normally see in September at CopperCon. The Tempe Mission Palms Hotel is a fantastic place for a convention. I?d like to thank everyone who came to the party Friday night. I was surprised at how many people showed.
Next on my agenda is BaltiCon. I have a nice following of fans there and I haven?t been there in a few years. MarCon (Columbus) and Conquest (Kansas City) pulled me away for a spell. I?ll have a table in the dealers? room and I?ll be doing panels as well. So come on by, check out my books and chat with me.
I?ve been working with Fangoria Magazine and my good friend Trey McGriff with some advertising. Fangoria has done a great job in helping me promote my books. Currently we are running an ad in Fangoria Magazine for another four months. After that, we?ll run an ad for Fractured Time to promote the horror aspects contained in the trilogy.
Fangoria will also promote my materials at ComiCon with a sponsor block on Friday, July 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 and will display my books and materials throughout the weekend. Also, they will run an ad in a special edition magazine to be distributed at the convention. We?re hoping to attract the attention of some of the movie gurus who frequent the con. All of us who are familiar with the Fractured Time Trilogy know it?s just a matter of time before someone takes notice of it and makes the movie and TV series based on each of the books. Come back soon for an update on things in my everchanging world of science fiction, fantasy and horror.
