When it comes to tablets, Samsung isn't exactly new to the market. However, this time around, they're bringing a little something to the table in cooperation with Verizon Wireless that they are hoping will stand out among the rest of the crowd. Although it's not exactly anything brand new, it's the same device that was announced at IFA in Berlin.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 will be packing a Super AMOLED Plus display with 1280x800 resolution, a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor along with a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera featuring LED flash and capable of 720p playback (1080p playback through HDMI dock or adapter). A 2-megapixel front facing camera for video chat, 16GB of storage, and connected through Verizon's 4G LTE round out this device.
If you're concerned about thickness and weight, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 measures just 7.9 millimeters thin and weighs only 340 grams. Samsung and Verizon have plenty of accessories already lined up for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 such as a keyboard dock, multimedia dock, bookcase covers and plenty of HDMI adapters if using Wi-Fi Direct or AllShare isn't good enough for you. Full press release is past the break for you all, however -- you find it void of any pricing or launch date details outside of it being available in the coming weeks.
